Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 19, 2026. This policy explains what Bitbead collects, why it is used, and how to contact us.
Data you provide
When you create an account, Bitbead stores your email address, display name, authentication provider, and session data so you can sign in and sync work across devices.
When you save, submit, or publish a bead pattern, Bitbead stores the pattern data, title, notes, generated preview, review status, and related metadata needed to show and edit that pattern.
When you contact support, Bitbead stores the messages and contact details needed to answer your request.
Images and generated patterns
Image import and pattern generation can run locally in the app. Drafts and exports stay on your device unless you sign in, save them to your account, submit them for public review, or otherwise choose to upload them.
Public library submissions may be reviewed before publication. Approved public patterns can be viewed, copied, and edited by other Bitbead users.
Purchases
Web purchases are processed by Stripe. Android in-app purchases are processed by Google Play. Bitbead stores purchase identifiers, product identifiers, subscription status, renewal or expiry dates, and entitlement state so Pro access can work across web and mobile after sign-in.
Bitbead does not store full card numbers or Google Play payment credentials.
Device permissions
The Android app may request camera access when you choose to take a photo for pattern generation. It may also use the system photo picker or file picker when you choose an existing image.
Network access is used for sign-in, account sync, public library features, purchase verification, and loading web-backed content.
Analytics and security
Bitbead may use privacy-conscious analytics and server logs to understand usage, diagnose errors, protect accounts, prevent abuse, and improve performance.
Access is limited to what is needed to operate and improve the service.
Your choices
You can keep drafts local, sign out, delete local saved patterns, or contact support to request account or cloud data deletion.
Public submissions can be removed or unpublished by contacting support. Some records may be retained where needed for security, legal, billing, or abuse-prevention reasons.
Contact
